The product is non-metallic, non-foaming, and it doesn't stain the surface of the pool. It contains polyethylene dichloride, which coats the algae cell and prevents carbon dioxide from getting in. Directions : Use 6-11 oz per 10,000 gallons to kill algae, and 2 oz per 10,000 gallons for regular maintenance doses. Use weekly for efficient results.
